Tabernacle Baptist Bible College & Seminary Faculty and Staff
The Lord has brought together a great team with many years of training and experience. The total years of training for the entire faculty is over 90 years; their total number of years of experience is over 280!
Mr. Kenneth F. Sheets, Dean
Mr. Sheets earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia and a Master of Divinity in Old Testament from Temple Baptist Seminary. He has served as church planter and pastor in Oregon and North Carolina. He has been teaching for twelve years, with an expertise in Biblical Languages (Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic), Textual Criticism, and Old Testament Wisdom Books.
Dr. Ray D. Fulayter, Dean of Students
Dr. Fulayter has studied at Port Huron Junior College, the University of Minnesota, and Mankato State Teacher College, and holds a B.A. degree from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, and a M.A. degree from Maranatha Baptist Graduate School of Theology, and a Master of Divinity from Maranatha Baptist Graduate School of Theology. He earned his Doctor of Religious Education degree in 1992. He has served in the pastorate and as a Christian day school administrator.
Dr. S. Fulayter, English and Education Professor
Dr. S. Fulayter has studied at the University of Minnesota and Mankato State University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, a Master of Arts degree from Maranathan Baptist Graduate School, and a Doctor of Religious Education degree from Tabernacle Baptist Theological Seminary. Her dissertation was entitled, "Biblically Helping Children with Learning Difficulties."
Dr. Walter Yoho, Professor
Dr. Yoho holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lycoming College and a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Bob Jones University. He has also studied at Eastern College and Faith Theological Seminary. Over the past twenty-nine years he has served as pastor, professor, and college administrator. He is the author of thirty-five books.
Dr. Carl D. Bieber, Professor
Dr. Bieber holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Education degree from Bloomsburg State College, and a Doctorate of Religious Education degree from Northgate Graduate School. He served his country in the United States Navy and has been teaching for forty years and has been the principal of Tabernacle Baptist Academy since May 1973.
Mrs. Marci Baker , Teacher
Mrs. Baker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in English from Bob Jones University and a Master of Religious Education degree from TBBCS. She has over twenty-five years of teaching experience in elementary, high school, home schooling, and tutoring children. Mrs. Baker is her husband's secretary-Rev. James W. Baker, pastor at Tabernacle. They have three daughters and two grandchildren.
Rev. Andrew P. Hoyle, Instructor
Rev. Hoyle holds both the Bachelor of Biblical Studies (2002) and Master of Biblical Studies (2004) degrees from Ambassador Baptist College, Lattimore, NC. He served almost four years in the Philadelphia, PA area as an associate to Pastor Mel Hall at Calvary Baptist Church in Elkins Park. He also taught in their Bible institute. In late 2006, Rev. Hoyle accepted the call as an assistant pastor and youth pastor at Tabernacle Baptist Church, and he began his service here in March, 2007. In the fall of 2008, he joined the faculty of the College and Seminary as a part-time instructor in Biblical Languages, teaching both first-year Hebrew and second-year Greek.
