Kindergarten & Lower Elementary Grades
The lower elementary school teaches children to develop skills in critical thinking, classifying, illustrating, summarizing and interpreting information.  Special emphasis is given in phonics to develop foundational skills.  Word perception an decoding of words are drilled daily and mastered before entering second grade.  The reading program is designed to teach the student to read orally with expression and comprehension.  Students are challenged to compose oral and written sentences as well as read sentences orally and silently.  Language is taught with introduction to parts of speech with hands-on materials that will prove vital when reinforcing basic skills.  Math is taught with a variety of activities that build independent thinking and problem solving.

Education is a process that is important for the success of each individual and, therefore, is needed in order to succeed.  Teaching children to communicate and think are important tools for their future within the world.

Proverbs 10:4 says, “The hand of the diligent maketh rich.”  Teachers open the door, but the child must enter alone.  We will strive to help the child discover their talents through hard work, encouragement and guidance.
